A Rivers State High Court presided by Justice Sika Aprioku has sacked the Chairman of APC Caretaker Committee in Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha, in a suit filed by sacked elected state, local government and ward executives of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The judge reinstates Chief Emeka Beke as the authentic Chairman of APC in Rivers State.
Earlier, Justice Aprioku had in a ruling on an application for joinder by some members of APC loyal to the Vice Chairman of APC, South-South, Victor Giadom, dismissed the application for lacking in merit and awarded fine of N300,000 in favour of the claimants.
