Administrator sues for unity amongst stakeholders

The Administrator of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Warisenibo Frederick Apiafi, has enjoined the people the area to be more united towards making the Local Government Area an enviable place, no matter where their political interests may lean.

Warisenibo Apiafi, who made the remarks while addressing stakeholders of the area during a meeting in Port Harcourt, recently , called on the people to come together to form a strong cohesion, which he said would begin with the stakeholders.

The Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area Administrator decried the way politics was being played in the area in the past, where the people of the area are divided along a lot of lines, pleading with them to be united in moving the LGA forward

Warisenibo Apiafi, further revealed that a reset button has been pressed in the dynamics of Opobo Nkoro Local Government Area in his administration, encouraging them to try and be open and receptive even to those they felt were their political opponents .

The Administrator also condemned acts of backbiting, gossiping, and any form of negativity, saying that all indigenes of Opobo/Nkoro share a level of unimagined affinity, as he encouraged everyone to be their brothers’ keepers.

The Local Government Area boss reiterated that every citizen of Opobo/Nkoro, even those that are not lettered, exhibits some level of intelligence that is not commonly found in other places, and advised them to eschew docility and laziness.

Warisenibo Apiafi assured them that the area would soon boast of international investments that will economically reposition the people of the area.

Stakeholders who attended the meeting commended the initiative of the administrator, pleaded with him to create indelible marks in the governance of the Local Government Area.
