- Sports Development. His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara funded the activities of Rivers Queens Handball Team and on their emergence as the female champions gifted them N50million. Again, Rivers Hoopers Basketball Team also received N30million from His Excellency for also emerging national Champions. His Excellency has been sponsoring every outing of the Rivers United Club and other sporting activities in the state. In addition, His Excellency hosted Stanley Nwabali for his outstanding feats at the AFCON 2023 by giving him the sum of N30M and the N20M to the Super Eagles technical team. In the same event His Excellency further gave the victorious Rivers Hoopers Basketball team N50M
