The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has postponed indefinitely, the meeting of its National Executive Committee NEC earlier slated for September 12.
Accordingly, the party has also postponed the meeting of its National Caucus which often holds on the eve of the NEC meeting.
APC in a statement issued Monday night in Abuja did not give reasons for the postponement, but such high level meetings are always subject to final approval by the president.
“Members of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are hereby informed that the National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings scheduled to be held on September 11 and 12, 2024, respectively, have been postponed.
“New dates for the meetings will be communicated in due course”, the party said in a terse statement.
