The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Chief David Chinedu Omereji said he will soon commence empowerment in all the wards in EMOLGA and that each ward will be given ten million naira for their empowerment which is one hundred and fourty million naira in the 14 wards. The Chairman said the essence of the ward to ward empowerment is to reach out to the people in the local areas because nobody is more important than the other, as he has decided not to just give money to those around him and call it empowerment of EMOLGA people.
Chief Omereji highlighted few things his administration has done so far which includes the completion of Ubimini road, ongoing construction of Ibaa road, the completion of Elele Alimini Health Centre, fencing of Emohua High Court, the completion of the Emohua High Court, purchasing of five transformers and distributed to Elele Alimini, Itu/Akpabu and Egbeda communities, the restoration of electricity in the entire EMOLGA is ongoing.
The council chairman has also ordered his SSA on Students Affairs and SSA on Basic Education to work out modalities for bursary payments and payments for the registration of WAEC and NECO for all EMOLGA students immediately.
